Life: New Year*

This year has been one of change and growth for myself, and for my family. While looking back on 2015, I am overcome with an acute sense of nostalgia. 2015 was a year full of new chapters, and despite my excitement for the new year, I sometimes find myself not ready to turn the page in lieu of forgetting the details of the memories I hold near and dear to my heart.

Our year was full of love and blessings, hopes, and dreams. We were blessed beyond words in many areas of our life, but we also experienced heartache for unanswered prayers, and paused dreams. We cried tears with family members in their time of loss, and celebrated in their happiness. We reconciled past hurts, forgave, and moved forward. We let go of our plans, and said "ok" to not right now. We took blind steps in faith towards our goals, and dreams and saw how faithful our God can be. We turned a house into a home, and with it reignited our love for one another. We gratefully embraced our family of three with open arms, and hearts for the future. A future we look forward to because together we have all we need or could hope for in this life, the new year, and the coming chapters.

From my family to yours, we wish you all a Happy New Year with chapters full of love and blessings, hopes, and dreams!
