Mommy's Life: Munchkin says*

-Talking about me and the hubs upcoming anniversary 

Munchkin: "that's great mom, but guess what? Only 7 days until my 10 year alive-a-versary!"

-After I almost accidentally walked out of the ice cream shop before paying (warning: the Coffee Lovers Only @ Coldstone is so good it causes temporary forgetfulness) 

Munchkin: *who stayed put at the register and then very loudly said* "HEY MOM, you forgetting something?!" 

...after our laughing attack, and I finally paid:

Mom: "what would I do without you?"

Munchkin: "I guess you'd be a burglar" 

-In reference to social media usage by kids her age:

Munchkin: *dramatically* "Fond memories are kept in your heart, not on a screen"  --wise words kiddo, wise words. 

-After one of our American Girl Doll dates:

Munchkin: "Daddy is a better doll player than you."

Mom: "What?! How?!"

Munchkin: "He sets things on fire then sends fire fighters and EMTs to save the day!" 

-Reminiscing about the past 10 years of munchkins life : 

Mom: "Well I'm sure glad I haven't done too much damage to you in the past 10 years"

Munchkin: "only when you have 'the talks'"

Mom: "what talks?"

Munchkin: "the ones about 'turning into a little lady' that make me want to barf" 

--I wish I had a picture of her face when she said this. Haha! I think I've scarred the poor girl with the adolescent talk. 

-One of our favorite things to do is come up with different things we love each other more than. This weeks I love you more than: 

Munchkin: "I love you more than puppies" 
Mom: "I love you more than puppy breath"
